Supporting Grangewood
Tuesday, October 25th, 2011ROS StageWorks Summer School wishes to support Grangewood School in Eastcote, which is a primary school for children with severe learning difficulties. A bucket collection at the performances of ‘Oklahoma!’ raised £275 which has been passed to Grangewood school. In thanking us, the headmaster indicated that the money would be put towards refurbishment of the school’s spa pool.

Our reunion – another big success
Wednesday, January 19th, 2011The reunion on 10th December, organised by 8 students plus Annie, went with a real swing. More than 30 students and 20 staff members had great fun and soon dispatched the buffet supper. Music, dancing, singing quizzes and games paved the way for a spontaneous re-enactment of Tradition and the Bottle Dance from Fiddler. Sounds like quite a party.
Praise from NODA for Fiddler…
Monday, November 8th, 2010‘I can only admire the young performers, aged between eight and eighteen, for having put on a performance of a difficult show with only a week of rehearsals. Their dedication, concentration and enthusiasm is to be highly praised and, providing they continue to take part in such an excellent hobby, it bodes well for the future of amateur theatre, for they are the future.’
Harvey Kesselman, NODA Rep.
